Polypropylene Fiber Monofilament

Synthetic microfiber is a fiber monofilament and is produced by the advanced technology for fiber spinning, modified by adding functional additives and special surface treatment. Mixed in cement concrete, mortar, and plaster, it has many advantages, such as good dispersion, better affinity with water, and strong bonding strength. Also, it is suitable to reinforce and resist cracking to all kinds of concrete and cement mortar, especially used in surface engineering of buildings, floors, and walls.

Characteristics

  • Does not agglomerate and spreads easily in mortar or concrete.
  • It guarantees the property of crack resistance effectively.
  • Easy to apply since it is not necessary to change the proportion of mortar, and simply put the fibers in the mortar mixture and stir for a moment after adding water.
  • Good economic properties as the equivalent diameter of polypropylene monofilament is only φ 25um, so the ratio of day and surface area is high, based on cracking resistance, it can reduce the quantity (0.6 kg/m3) and reduce the cost-effectively.
  • The best fiber for plaster is because of the large number of thin fibers spread evenly in the mortar, plastering is much easier and this can improve the bonding strength between the surface and the base.
  • The fiber has stable chemical properties, strong acid, and alkali resistance, and can be used in any engineering project.
